Cast iron foot valve with stainless steel 304 strainer introduction
The cast iron foot valve with filter is a low-pressure flat valve, which is usually installed at the bottom of the underwater suction pipe of the water pump. Its function is to ensure the one-way flow of liquid in the suction pipe so that the water pump can work normally. When the water pump stops working in a short period of time, the liquid cannot return to the water source tank, ensuring that the water suction pipe is filled with liquid to facilitate the startup of the water pump.
The foot valve is composed of a valve body, a valve disc, a sealing ring, a spring, a filter screen and other parts. Under the pressure of the fluid, the valve disc opens to the water. When the stop signal appears, the pressure in the outlet pipe closes the valve disc quickly and the liquid will not flow. Returning the water source plays the role of pumping water smoothly and saving water energy loss.
